Support Worker - Supported Living

Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
Salary: £12.60 to £14.50 per hour (reflecting the higher client needs and enhanced weekend rate)

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personalised support to individuals, ensuring their well‑being and safety.
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Supporting individuals in developing and maintaining social relationships and participating in community activities.
  • Promoting independence and self‑advocacy skills.
  • Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records of support provided via Digital Care Planning.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals involved in the individual's care, such as family members, healthcare providers, and social workers.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a supported living setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a car essential.
  • PMVA qualification or experience in caregiving or social work are desirable but not essential as all training will be given.
