Support Worker – Children & Families

Temporary Contract: 4–12 weeks | 37.5 hours per week | £15.66 per hour (LTD)

We are currently recruiting for two experienced Support Workers on behalf of our client, working within an accommodation-based service supporting young parents and couples. This is a temporary position offering 12 weeks of ongoing work, providing high-quality support to children, families, and young people in a residential setting.

You will be delivering a mixture of 08:00 - 16:00 and 13:00–21:00 shifts, with occasional day and night cover also required. Flexibility is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide practical and emotional support to young parents, children, and families
  • Work within a residential accommodation setting, maintaining strong safeguarding practice
  • Help service users to develop independent living skills and sustain their tenancy
  • Maintain accurate, timely case notes and support plans
