As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll be part of our client’s dedicated support team, providing essential care in their home. You’ll be employed by HomeCareDirect but will focus solely on supporting this client.
This role is for 20 hrs per week. Flexibility across all days of the week is required to meet the needs of the client. Shifts will be discussed during the interview stage.
Our lovely client lives with her husband, assistance dog and a few other pets. She experiences chronic pain and ongoing health conditions so she requires daily support with medication, household tasks, shopping trips and getting to appointments.
Personal assistants will also assist with personal care such as showering, washing her hair and dressing, always with dignity and respect.
A mobility vehicle is available to ensure she can continue to enjoy outings and stay connected with her community.
She remains active and mobile with the use of crutches and a scooter when out and about. With a warm and creative personality, she has a passion for horses, arts and crafts, crocheting, and photography. She loves spending time in the countryside and relaxing with a good film.
