Job description

Overview

This post is an exciting enhancement of the existing multi-disciplinary community eating disorder service with a specific focus on alternatives to admission. The team will work closely alongside the existing team and the successful candidates will have the chance to be a part of the development of this innovative specialist pathway of care for service users in North East Lincolnshire.

Responsibilities

• Provide a package of enhanced mealtime support and intensive work with young people and families, usually within their own home with the aim being to prevent hospital admissions or shorten them if they are deemed necessary.
• Support service users and their families (when appropriate) during mealtimes in the family home using an evidence-based model and care pathway.
• Complete physical health checks and support the MDT to deliver an intensive package of support to service users and their families.
• Co‑facilitate support groups, training and assessments alongside senior members of staff.
