Are you passionate about social care. Have experience, but discontented with the traditional delivery of care? Fancy a new vocational career and have all the right personal values.? Then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We are looking for the right person/persons to deliver a person‑centred approach for a 40‑year‑old gentleman, with learning and physical disabilities who lives within a home environment with shared family families. You will be required to organise and support with a variety of new and established tasks and experiences to enable him to live and independent and fulfilling life.

Summary of Duties
  • To support participation of family life, including domestic tasks.
  • Assist in the planning and participation pf social and therapeutic activities of choice (mostly in the community, with some weekend and evening work required).
  • To help me maintain good mental health and well-being.
  • To value and prioritise my personal development.
  • Support to access appointments, such as healthcare.
  • Promotion of dignity and meeting personal care needs where required.
  • Provision of basic first aid/emergency management where necessary.
  • Report/handling over relevant information to family/those involved in the care.
  • Any tasks required deemed reasonable as part of the role when identified by the customer/family.

Must be a car owner with full driving licence and business class insurance.

A fully enhanced DBS is required.

A job share is available for lesser hours.
