Job description
Overview

The Support for Learning Co‑ordinator plays a key role within mainstream primary and additional support needs primary and secondary school environments, providing support and assistance to children and young people with additional support needs to access the curriculum. Additional Support Needs Schools can range from Complex Learning Needs to Additional Learning Needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care and support to children/young people while building positive working relationships and promoting positive behaviour.
  • Support supervision and administration of medication and personal care where required.
Requirements
  • Successful candidates will be required to pay for the costs associated with PVG Scheme Membership/Checks and regulatory body registration where required.
