Location: Valley, Holyhead, Anglesey. Onsite or Hybrid: OnSite. Role Type: Full time / Permanent. Location detail: Llandudno, GB, LL65 3NY (note: reference location in posting).

This role is based at Valley and is full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

The role

As a Support Bays Team Leader, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll take charge of scheduled and unscheduled mechanical and avionic maintenance activities within our support bays. You’ll be at the heart of operations, ensuring our aircraft are maintained to the highest standards, on time and in full compliance with aviation regulations.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Lead and coordinate mechanical and avionic maintenance activities, ensuring safety and compliance
  • Contribute to maintenance planning forums, identifying risks and recovery solutions
  • Drive improvements in maintenance capability aligned with customer needs
  • Deliver accurate updates on maintenance schedules and resource utilisation
  • Manage administrative duties including SQEP, absence reporting, and AMC compliance

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to pass a targeted medical questionnaire and/or medical examination as a condition.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is based at Valley.

Essential experience
  • Extensive engineering trade experience
  • Substantial experience in a supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of aviation maintenance standards and planning
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a high-pressure, regulated environment
  • Experience using digital platforms for reporting and planning
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management or equivalent experience
  • Completed SiA and LMDP training
  • Full UK Driving Licence
