About the role

As a Support Assistant, you'll provide vital administrative and executive support to our legal teams in Newcastle. You’ll be supporting our Employment Rights team handling everything from drafting documents and managing diaries to liaising with clients and supporting case management. Whether it’s preparing standard letters and documents, sorting incoming mail, opening files or dealing with client enquiries, the role is critical to the success of the department.

Who we are looking for

With solid IT skills, a knack for communication, and a client‑focused approach, you’ll help ensure the teams run smoothly.

Ideally you’ll need experience in a legal admin environment, but candidates without this who can show a full range of admin skills will be considered. You will need excellent time management skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering top‑notch support. Familiarity with electronic case management systems or a background in Employment Rights, Personal Injury, or Criminal Law would be a bonus.

If you're the kind of person who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, keeps things running like clockwork, and loves being at the heart of a team that makes a real difference—this might just be your next move.
