Job description

Overview

Strategy Education works closely with a Secondary School based in Lewisham who are requiring Cover Teachers & Cover Supervisors to cover daily and short term contracts.

Daily Supply offers flexibility to work when you want to work – it's perfect if you don't want full time commitments, or if you want to work in a variety of schools each week.

QTS or QTLS is desired but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervising work that has been set
• Managing the behaviour of pupils
• Responding to questions from pupils
• Assisting pupils to undertake activities set
• Collecting completed work after lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher
• Reporting back as appropriate using the agreed referral procedures within the school

Requirements / Qualifications

• Have a passion for educating children
• Understand the need for flexibility and adaptability
• Have excellent classroom management skills
• Interested and enjoy being in a school environment
• QTS or QTLS is desired but not essential
