Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services, Supply Chain, Logistics & Transport Team function. The base for the post will be NHS Regional Stores, Denbigh but will involve travel around North Wales sites.

Main Duties
  • Assisting in the rollout of a new inventory management system to hospital sites across North Wales
  • Liaising with service users to promote the use of the new system
  • Ensuring effective stock levels are held
Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
  • The successful applicant will have previous experience working in a similar capacity, specifically warehousing/customer service organisation, ordering of goods, inventory management and stock control. An excellent understanding of Health & Safety is also essential for this role.
  • Assisting in the rollout of a new inventory management system to hospital sites across North Wales
  • Planning the rollout of the project in line with expectations and objectives set by the Health Board and NWSSP
  • Liaising with service users to promote the use of the new system
  • Training new users
  • Ensuring effective stock levels are held
  • Tracking benefits of the rollouts and scheduling reviews
  • Ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
