A confidential opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Manager to join a growing organisation based in Leeds on a fixed-term 9-month contract. This is a senior role within the supply chain function, ensuring the organisation has the right resources and materials in place to support operations, while optimising processes and managing a small team. The role offers the chance to work closely with teams across procurement, logistics, finance, and operations, providing a strategic backbone to the organisation’s activities.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing end-end supply chain from sourcing to aftercare.
  • Managing inventory and stock levels to support organisational needs.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating and resolving issues.
  • Leading meetings and providing input on resource requirements.
  • Collaborating with finance and logistics teams on operational coordination.
  • Identifying potential supply chain risks and implementing proactive solutions.
  • Managing and mentoring a small team of supply chain staff.
Key skills & experience
  • Proven experience in supply chain management.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills with ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems desirable.
  • Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.
  • Hybrid working, 2 days in the office a week
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rated for the contract length)

Location & package

Locations: Sheffield – £60k - £70k per year + Excellent Package; London – £55k - £65k per year + Excellent Package; Doncaster – Competitive Salary + Car Allowance + Hybrid Working.
