What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading supplier collaboration through strategic development and risk mitigation implementation
  • Proactively identifying and capitalising on opportunities to achieve cost and schedule efficiencies
  • Leading innovative supplier contracting to enable collaborative and forward-thinking product development
  • Actively managing supplier performance to pre-empt issues, enabling rapid recovery and ensuring consistent delivery success
  • Leading the strategic development of secondary supply chain solutions to enhance resilience and ensure continuity
Your Skills And Experience
  • MCIPS or equivalent level, relevant professional qualification
  • Proven experience in supply chain management within a complex project environment
  • Comprehensive experience in managing teams, leading business operations, and driving executive-level initiatives
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively guide, influence, and negotiate across diverse business environments
  • Flexible and willing to travel regularly to Huddersfield and other locations as required by business needs

The Propulsion Integrated Delivery (IDT) Team

This team are responsible for the design, development, and qualification of critical submarine equipment for the SSNA program, currently in its early design phase. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape supply chain strategies, drive performance improvements, and gain broad business exposure—ideal for those seeking a dynamic, high-impact environment with real influence. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
