Job description

Carbon60 is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Supply Chain Coordinator to join their dynamic client based in Filton. As a key member of the Supply Chain department, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to customers worldwide.

This position is a contract role lasting until November 2026.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Coordinator
  • Manage and monitor purchase orders to align with customer requirements
  • Optimise ordering parameters to improve delivery performance and quality
  • Manage reordering tasks after rejections, scrap, or damages
  • Monitor and manage delivery forecasts and 'line of balance' through regular supplier interactions
  • Participate in supplier performance reviews and provide feedback as needed
  • Troubleshoot delivery issues, goods receipts, quality notices, and invoices
  • Analyse MRP and supply chain exception messages
  • Monitor supplier stock and support the scrap/sell/transfer process where required
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in a supply chain or logistics role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to understand and apply requirements planning principles
  • Self-motivated with a keen desire to learn and take on challenges
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
