This Supply Chain Coordinator role is working as part of a collaborative and motivated supply chain team at our office in Emersons Green, Bristol. The role contains supply chain and purchasing responsibilities with a key focus on driving value add to the business through procurement strategy. The desired candidate will demonstrate excellent commercial awareness whilst working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Purchase order management, ensure orders are acknowledged and delivered to the required date with a particular focus on expediting and de-expediting orders to maintain correct stock levels
  • Supplier relationship management. Build partnerships with strategic suppliers and manage their performance to the required standards
  • Develop and implement a purchasing strategy, focusing on cost down initiatives and value add, both internally and externally
  • Lead supplier reviews on and off site
  • Work cross functionally to resolve any queries when they arise. Departments include technical, warehouse and IT
  • Accurate data input into internal ERP system, including quote maintenance and delivery information
  • Interface with the client to manage product changes and obsolescence and work jointly with them on value-add projects
Qualifications and Skills

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

The ideal candidate will be educated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent, you will also be an effective communicator at all levels who is resilient and able to think clearly and react appropriately when under pressure.

You will have the ability to persuade, influence and negotiate internally within TVS and externally with suppliers. You will be literate and numerate with a good attention to detail.

It is an advantage if you have a good working knowledge of ERP and are a competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous industry sector background is desirable but not essential with experience of international trade being advantageous.
