We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support our supply chain team in delivering high service levels to both internal and external customers. This role is crucial for providing accurate data analysis, assisting with demand and supply planning, and generating reports. The successful candidate will work across a range of products, ensuring optimal inventory levels, maintaining accurate system data, and contributing to our continuous improvement efforts. This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Planning Manager.

Your Mission at Elis
  • Demand Planning: Assist with maintaining and updating product-level demand forecasts. You will be responsible for reviewing forecast exceptions, analysing trends , and supporting the demand planning calendar by helping to consolidate inputs from commercial and operational teams. You will also prepare reports on forecast performance and stock risks.
  • Supply Planning: Monitor stock levels and review inventory exceptions, such as low inventory or overstocks, to minimise stockouts and obsolete stock. This includes supporting the raising and tracking of purchase orders , monitoring supplier OTIF (on time in full) , and issuing purchase forecasts to suppliers.
  • Systems and Data Management: Maintain accurate master data in our supply chain systems, including purchase prices, lead times, and minimum order quantities. You will use Excel and planning systems (e.g., Slim4, Dynamics AX) to support planning activities and run regular reports on KPIs such as service levels and supplier performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support the Planning Manager on supply chain improvement projects by preparing data and tracking progress. You will also identify opportunities to streamline tasks and assist with the documentation of supply chain processes.

Essential
  • Analytical and numerate, with the ability to work comfortably with large data sets.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (including pivot tables, vlookups, and basic formulas).
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Eager to learn and develop within a supply chain environment.
  • Experience in a supply chain, logistics, or inventory planning environment.
  • An understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OTIF, forecast accuracy, stock availability, and inventory days.
Desirable
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX) and/or demand planning tools (e.g., Slim4) is a plus.
