The Role

As a Supply Chain Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our Warships Team, providing essential administrative support that enables the successful delivery of our Supply Chain Department. This is a varied and dynamic role where your attention to detail and organisational skills will help drive operational excellence and support national defence.

Day-to-day, you’ll be supporting our Supply Chain Procurement Specialists by providing administration support that supports the current order book as well as the various future opportunities we are supporting.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitating applications for supplier onboarding
  • Managing security administration tasks to enable supplier access to site
  • Collating information for reports and producing relevant packs
  • Updating trackers using Excel and SharePoint
  • Liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing and entering costs into systems

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 1 day in the office/onsite and 4 days working from home.

Essential Experience
  • Proven administration experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Confident communicator with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
  • GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent
