Job summary

Overview

UHI Moray are seeking to appoint suitably experienced individuals to their supply bank for Nursery Nurse. As part of our commitment to widening access to education and training, UHI Moray provides a Nursery facility for children between 6 weeks and 5 years of age. Reporting to the Nursery Manager, the successful candidates will assist in planning Nursery sessions and will support the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of individual children.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning Nursery sessions and support the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of individual children.
Qualifications
  • HNC level in Childcare and Education, or an equivalent qualification (i.e., NNEB; SNEB or SVQ level 3).
  • Knowledge of key aspects of the early year’s curriculum and early childhood development; enthusiastic and highly motivated in promoting child-led activities and learning experiences.
  • Registered with the SSSC or willing to become registered.
  • Experience of working with young children and babies in a Nursery environment is desirable but not essential.
