Job description

The Supplier Relationship Manager will ensure there are clear management controls for governance, performance management, business communication and contracting administrative procedures to ensure that all parties involved in the delivery and receipt of services understand their accountabilities and responsibilities. They will be responsible for monitoring benefit delivery and managing contract risk such as contract escalations, issue management and resolution. This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with service providers and partner with R&D Site Operations to seek opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Work with R&D Site Operations to develop annual supplier objectives for enterprise oversight; facilitate and encourage cross regional working.
  • Provide service provider management information and insights from service delivery to the R&D Engineering Services Leadership team.
  • Lead regular supplier performance management & reporting including contractual governance providing oversight of the supplier's FM performance through senior governance meetings.
  • Implement and deliver a contract assurance program to ensure contractual obligations are being met or exceeded.
  • Ensure 3rd party risks are managed and aligned to GSK TPO requirements.
  • Deliver Change Request contract management aligned to the commercial model and track/manage completion of documentation.
Basic Qualifications

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Strong experience managing regional/global Facilities Management contracts and establishing governance processes to verify service delivery.
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with external service providers and developing supplier objectives for enterprise oversight.
  • Extensive competence in facilities management and procurement.
  • Proven ability implementing and delivering a contract assurance program to ensure contractual obligations are being met or exceeded.
  • Proven ability managing escalation/issue management channels with external providers to support effective work.
  • Financial literacy; ability to analyse budget performance.
Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience in regulated industries, such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or life sciences
  • Familiarity with supplier risk management frameworks and mitigation planning
  • Experience with continuous improvement methods, for example, Lean or Six Sigma
  • Track record of delivering cost-saving or value creation initiatives with suppliers
  • Professional procurement or supplier relationship certification
