Job description

A leading specialist contractor is seeking a Fire Protection Supervisor to join their team, working across fire door installation and remediation contracts on social housing stock. Projects are delivered for local council authorities and housing associations covering Northern England the Midlands region. The majority of the workload is based in Sheffield, however Supervisors are required to travel to the Midlands when required.

The Role
  • Overseeing fire door installation and remediation projects
  • Coordinating operatives and subcontractors on site
  • Ensuring compliance with specifications and fire safety standards
  • Assisting operatives on occasion to support the team and maintain schedules
  • Managing daily site activities, reporting, and documentation
About You
  • Experience in social housing projects is desirable
  • Strong understanding of fire door systems and installation/remediation practices
  • Flexible and hands‑on, happy to assist operatives when needed
  • Excellent communication and team‑working skills
  • Willingness to travel across London and the Home Counties as required
