Responsibilities: Within the nursing center, the Dining Services Supervisor assists in providing technical guidance and administrative direction over food planning, menu, and serving of meals, food quality and food satisfaction.

  • Adheres to all sanitary and food safety regulations governing handling and serving of food.
  • Ensures that meals are prepared and served on schedule and in accordance with standards, company policy and budget allowances.
  • Investigates trends and developments in dietary, practices and techniques, and evaluates their adaptability to dietary programs.
  • Creates, revises, and adapts work techniques and methods for more efficient operation of unit and for training employees.
  • Orients, trains, develops, and evaluates staff to maintain an elevated level of performance.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in accordance with regulatory agencies governing the nursing center
