A global leader in marine technologies is seeking a dynamic Superintendent Engineer to join their team. You will perform field service activities on marine diesel engines, traveling internationally around 200 days per year. The ideal candidate will have a relevant technical background and strong problem-solving skills. Marine Agreements Field Service Resources team oversees field service resourcing for two extensive maintenance agreements with Marine customers, managing all engine maintenance and monitoring, both scheduled and unscheduled. We are responsible for safely extending overhaul intervals whenever possible, thanks to our close monitoring of the ship’s engines. We have a passion for doing things right, and our customers appreciate the world-class service we provide.
We are now looking for a dynamic and safety‑oriented Superintendent Engineer, Mechanical to join our skilled team.
As a Superintendent Engineer, your primary focus will be performing field service activities such as overhauls, maintenance, and troubleshooting on Wärtsilä 4-stroke marine diesel engines, including the Wärtsilä 46, 46F, 46 Common Rail, 46 TSDF, and Sulzer ZA40S. You will provide our customers with technical expertise and strive to deliver the best possible service experience, all while adhering to Wärtsilä QEHS guidelines and regulations.
In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work internationally, traveling the world for approximately 200 days per year. Thus, we hope that you are eager to travel and possess a strong field service mindset. When not traveling, you will have the flexibility to work remotely in accordance with our hybrid work model.
