Your Role

Tasked with being in charge of the onsite residence staff; you will create a home from home environment for our international students by assisting your residence leaders in guiding their groups from the unfamiliar to the unforgettable.

After a summer of working as a Residence Manager, you will leave having created truly amazing memories for your students and will have managed a team of international staff. You will expand your organisational skills to ensure the room allocations are maximised and that our logistics systems are up to date.

Responsibilities
  • Working with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students. A live-in position that sees you having the overall responsibility for a hotel/residence and the students/staff who are staying there
  • You will manage room assignments, coordinate arrivals and departures, and ensure a seamless experience for our students
  • You will liaise with residence owners and staff on anything from cleaning, maintenance, to theme events and safety
Requirements
  • A flexible approach to hours of work undertaken is essential
  • Experience of managing or leading a team desirable
  • Highly motivated, energetic, positive
  • Customer service orientated, friendly & approachable manner
  • Able to remain calm under pressure & to diffuse potentially difficult situations
  • Sensitive to needs of international students living away from home
  • Excellent communicator with students, colleagues, and external clients
  • Attention to detail, organized & thorough
  • All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS checkand two references
  • Right to work in the UK on commencement of employment
