Today, Amazon Web Services provides a highly reliable, scalable, low-cost infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers hundreds of thousands of businesses in 190 countries around the world. The AWS Cloud infrastructure is built around Regions and Availability Zones (AZs). AWS Regions provide multiple, physically separated and isolated Availability Zones which are connected with low latency, high throughput, and highly redundant networking. We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to help build out that low latency, high throughput, and highly redundant network.
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager with proven experience, strong sense of ownership and passion for defining and driving large cross-functional programs. The candidate should be self-driven, able to learn quickly and influence decision-making across organizations. In this position, you will work closely with various Amazon business units to gather, refine and drive program goals including compliance and financial management. You will have the opportunity to implement new processes and procedures driving continuous improvement while interacting with a broad range of stakeholders across Amazon.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure continuous access to innovation. We tackle challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and seek talented people who want to help.
You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You will collaborate with people across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing scalable capacity at the lowest possible cost. The Subsea engineering team is responsible for all aspects of submarine network deployment, operation, upgrades and management within AWS. We own the technology roadmap and standards for submarine fibre optic cable, installation methods, procurement of the SLTE, RSPC and associated operational models and security postures. The team works closely with Regional Business Development teams to deliver submarine capacity to a global standard, enabling economic and scalable consistency for all customers.
