Job description

Responsibilities

• Being a key member of the Global Design Standards team supporting regional understanding of the NTT Global Reference Design (GRD) and its engineering detail as it is localised and deployed through third party architects and engineers
• Interfacing with internal stakeholders from parallel business functions, the NTT Product team and Regional Delivery teams
• Supporting design reviews at all stages of project design and delivery on an as required basis
• Consulting with members of our Engineering, Expansion, Construction, Operations, Product and Sales teams to ensure that optimal design decisions are made with careful assessment of risks and opportunities
• Contributing to the development of the Global Reference Design and Regional variants
• Contributing to Owner Furnished Contractor Installed equipment specifications and procurement of the same
• Acting as a focal point for lessons learned to include in GRD development and to cascade to Regional Design Management teams

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, Building Engineering or related discipline)
• Significant knowledge and experience of deployment of Mechanical Engineering installations in new build data centers for both hyperscale wholesale and conventional enterprise colocation data centers
• Experience of working internationally and highly developed communication skills
• Proficient understanding of all other design disciplines required to deliver a new data center facility
• This position is expected to be remote with travel approximately 15% of the time
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
