About the Role

You’ll apply F1 aerodynamic principles to projects beyond Formula One®, spanning other motorsport categories and the wider automotive industry. Your role will involve planning and delivering aerodynamic studies using CAD and CFD, while exploring innovative techniques that transfer the best of F1 aero development into new environments.

This placement is perfect for those excited by the challenge of adapting high-performance engineering to diverse applications.

About You

We’re looking for passionate, curious and committed students. You should be:

• Studying Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering, Motorsport Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or Physics, or a closely related discipline, with a strong academic track record
• Curious, creative, and motivated to solve problems
• Eager to learn and contribute to live projects
• Comfortable using CAD, CFD, or experimental methods
• Able to work well in a team-focused, fast-moving environment
• A clear and positive communicator, with a collaborative approach.

Please note, you must be returning to university to complete your studies following the placement, which will end July 2027.
