Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a Student Attendance and Engagement Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our 16–19 full-time students. This is a non-teaching position where you will work closely with our cohort leads to monitor attendance, implement support plans, and intervene early when barriers to learning arise.
  • Monitor and track student attendance, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Support vulnerable learners with tailored interventions and “back on track” plans.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents/guardians, and external agencies to provide a joined-up approach.
  • Encourage, motivate, and celebrate student progress, fostering confidence and engagement.
What we’re looking for
  • A Level 3 qualification (Youthwork, Teaching, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with young people in one-to-one and group settings.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills.
