Exam Invigilator (Academic Services) – Casual Post
From 13.90 an hour inclusive of London Allowance

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the supervision of examinations in the Student Administration section of Academic Services during the University's exam sessions for the 2025/26 academic year.
  • Be reliable, punctual, diligent, and a good communicator; remain calm under pressure.
  • Attend mandatory training and induction sessions if shortlisted; full training will be provided.
  • Support morning sessions at 9:15 am and afternoon sessions at 1:45 pm; shift end times vary with exam length.
  • Assist with invigilation during spring term, summer term, and a portion of the summer vacation period as required.
  • Respond to candidate needs and maintain exam integrity and a quiet testing environment.
  • Other reasonable duties as required by Academic Services.
Dates and availability

The dates of the 2025/26 exam sessions are:

  • Spring Term: 12 – 16 January 2026
  • Summer Term: 4 May – 5 June 2026
  • Summer Vacation: End of August / Beginning of September 2026
Contract and location

This is a part-time, casual post, available from 1 December 2025 for a fixed-term period up to 11 September 2026 (earlier end dates are possible).

You will also need to be available to complete a mandatory Right to Work check on Tuesday 25 November 2025 and training/induction on Tuesday 6 January 2026. If you cannot attend either date, please do not apply.

This post is based in Egham, Surrey, near Windsor Great Park, within commuting distance from London.
