Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced structured cabling engineer for a contract in Exeter. The role involves installation and maintenance of network systems. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience with structured cabling, own necessary tools, and possess a CSCS/ECS card. Shifts will be Monday to Friday for 8 hours a day, starting on 22nd September.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience installing internal structured cabling systems.
• CSCS/ECS card required; ECS in datacomms or related discipline is advantageous.
• Must have own tools for cable installation.

Responsibilities

• Utilise hand and power tools for installation and maintenance of network systems.
• Perform Cat5/6 installation from pulling to termination and testing.

Overview

Structured cabling engineer - Contract - Exeter

DCS Recruitment currently seek an experienced data cabling engineer for a project in Exeter.

Due to start Monday 22nd September

1 week initial expectancy

M-F 8 hour day shifts

Responsibilities

• Utilise hand, termination, and power tools and equipment for installation, maintenance, and repair of network systems.
• Cat5/6 installation from pulling in to termination and test

Requirements

• CSCS/ECS card. Related discipline ECS such as datacomms installer, field engineer, or network engineer is advantageous but not essential.
• Minimum of 3 years experience installing internal structured cabling and its systems
• You must have your own PPE and hand/termination tools for carrying out cabling installs including a combi drill as minimum
