Overview

Experienced Junior Building Structures Engineer. Permanent role in London. Salary £36,000 - £40,000. An outstanding opportunity with a 90-strong top tier structural consultancy in Central London has opened up and is shortlisting in the near future. They are looking for an experienced Junior Building Structures Engineer to join one of their dedicated building structures teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a design engineer on a range of building structures projects including stadia, hotels, multi-storey residential structures and artistic installations.
• Use traditional materials (hand calcs and design software).
• Attend site meetings and design meetings; liaise with contractors as directed by the senior members of the team.
• As you establish within the team, take on project responsibilities and develop towards a project engineer role.

Qualifications

• Outstanding academic background (2:1 or better MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering).
• At least 12 months of experience working with a UK-based structural consultancy on similar style projects as a design/graduate engineer.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK long term; the company is not able to sponsor overseas candidates.
