Overview

Structural Engineer – Kent

£30-40,000

I am actively seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a friendly design team based in Kent. Our client is a well-established civil and structural design consultancy, working largely on residential, commercial and mixed-use buildings. The chosen candidate will join a vibrant office where communication and teamwork is encouraged. Our client uses Tekla, TEDDS, AutoCAD and REVIT for drawings.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in completing structural designs and provide support throughout projects from inception through to completion.
  • Assist with structural survey work.
  • Help mentor junior engineers, graduates, and technicians.
  • Contribute to project delivery using up-to-date design software and CAD tools.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Chartered or working towards Chartership.
  • Likely 2-3 years or more experience working in the UK.
  • Experience working on residential and commercial builds.
  • Ability to complete structural survey work is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience using up-to-date design software.
  • Working knowledge of CAD.
  • Ideally local but relocation candidates will be considered.
