Job Description:

I am currently working with a Lancashire-based, multi-skilled, multi-office consulting engineering company that requires an experienced Structural Engineer with confidence, ability, and initiative to lead multiple projects and meet the needs of high-profile clients.

The role:

• Support Principal Engineers and Directors by producing detailed structural calculations, sketches, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Handle costings, budgets, quotations, and report writing.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify construction compliance with drawings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years’ UK experience in Structural Design within residential and commercial buildings, including steelwork, reinforced concrete, and masonry to Euro Code standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MasterSeries, and TEDDS software; capable of producing detailed calculations, sketches, and drawings.
• Ability to obtain full UK security clearance.
• Strong commercial awareness regarding costing, budgets, and quotations.
• Focus on client satisfaction.
• Self-motivated and driven by challenges.
• Willing to work towards or nearing Chartered Status.
• Ideally familiar with STAAD.Pro, SCIA, and Revit.
