Are you a Structural Engineer looking to work on diverse, high-quality projects while being part of a collaborative, design-led team? Our client is looking for an enthusiastic engineer to join their growing Sheffield office and play a key role in delivering projects from concept through to completion.
You will be working on a wide range of schemes, from small refurbishment and retrofit projects to large-scale new build developments. A major part of the role involves working closely with the architectural team, collaborating from early design stages to successfully deliver well-coordinated, efficient and elegant solutions.
The role involves designing structural solutions using concrete, steel, masonry and timber. You will take responsibility for calculations, drawings and technical input and work closely with the whole team.
They are looking for an engineer who has at least 2 years UK experience, preferably in the Sheffield area, who can contribute to a positive office culture with a collaborative mindset and good communication skills.
