Job summary

A contractor firm in the UK is seeking a contractor to provide structural design services for 12 months, involving site inspections in Cheshire. Candidates should have an HNC in Civil & Structural Engineering, relevant onshore project experience, and competence in AutoCAD. Knowledge of Tekla and building structures is essential. Indefinite eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Roles and Responsibilities

Addison Project Plc require a contractor to provide Structural Design services for a period of 12 months. This scope will be delivered between site in Cheshire where you will complete inspections and surveys for 2 or 3 days per week and Structural Design which will be provided in Daresbury.

• Technical Structural site surveys and inspections on site in Cheshire, 3 days per week
• Structural 2D design support, Tekla
• Detailing of structural steelwork and concrete, including reinforced concrete detailing and scheduling
• Condition inspection and reporting
• Client liaison

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of HNC Civil & Structural Engineering level preferred
• Industrial / Petro / Chemical UK onshore project and site experience preferred
• Suitable, relevant and demonstrable structural experience working on UK onshore industrial projects technical competence
• Excellent understanding of building structures and structural/civil engineering
• Fully competent with AutoCAD to the most current version
• 3D Tekla structures / AutoCAD Advance Steel / 3D AutoCAD experience an advantage
• Navisworks and 3D point cloud survey experience an advantage
