Are you a highly motivated dietitian passionate about improving nutritional care and quality of life of stroke patients?, As part of the Integrated Community Stroke Service you will:

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust (CFT) Nutrition and Dietetic team providing dietetic support and advice to patients and Health Professionals in the area of stroke working across the community stroke pathway in Cornwall.
  • To plan and deliver a high-quality Nutrition and Dietetic service within the ICSS Team and contribute to service development as required.
  • To undertake direct and non-direct clinical work that contributes to the delivery of a high quality safe and effective dietetic service.
  • To develop appropriate resources as required.
  • To keep accurate records in accordance with CFT and Health Professions Council regulations/policy.
  • To work as both an autonomous practitioner and alongside the senior stroke dietician delivering a high quality dietetic service to patients on the ICSS.

We are looking for an enthusiastic part time permanent Band 6 Dietitian to join the Integrated Community Stroke Service (ICSS) at Cornwall Partnership Foundation NHS Trust (CPFT).

This post offers the fulfilling experience of working as a core member of a wider multidisciplinary team along with other therapists, general rehab technicians, psychologists and stroke specialist nurses across Cornwall. And brings opportunities to further develop clinical skills, experience, CPD and delivering training whilst contributing to service development across the ICSS and the Dietetic Department in Cornwall. The ability to travel to different locations in a timely manner is essential to bring a high quality therapy setting to patients' homes to support their dietetic and nutrition needs, including tube fed patients.
