A leading environmental services company is seeking a strategic leader to manage and develop plans for the Industrial, Energy and Water Teams. The role involves facilitating strategic project delivery and ensuring that goals are met through effective metrics. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in project management and team leadership, as well as experience in innovation and risk management. Lead the development of strategic plans and frameworks for the Industrial, Energy and Water Teams including formalising the strategic planning process and focusing on long-term trends and competitive intelligence.
Facilitate the setting and execution of strategy through conception, design and delivery of IWE strategic projects, working collaboratively with COO and Directors.
Ensure appropriate metrics and KPI's are in place to measure performance and progress towards strategic goals.
Act as key advisor to the COO on critical changes in market outlook, competitive landscape, and internal / external business environment.
Develop and operate a centre of excellence hub for strategic planning in IWE, acting as first point of contact for strategic development.
Provide accountability for development of Strategic Plans within Ireland, Finland and the UK.
Governance control and M&A coordination support, ensuring all bids have appropriate governance.
The ability to manage and support the delivery of complex strategic projects.
The ability to build and lead a high performing team and ensuring people are developed to their full potential.
Experience encouraging innovation and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and best practice.
Change management experience.
Risk management experience in asset intensive operations.
Experience in strategic planning and business analysis.
