Job summary

A global humanitarian organization based in the United Kingdom is seeking a seasoned financial leader to manage effective financial operations and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, five to seven years of financial management experience, and excellent communication skills in both English and Filipino. This role requires strategic decision-making capabilities and proven experience with financial systems. Commitment to the organization’s values, including gender justice and accountability, is essential.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy or its equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Five to seven years of senior financial management experience.
  • Excellent leadership, people, and project management skills.
  • Strong computer literacy, especially in MS Dynamics 365 and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures effective financial management policies and systems are in place.
  • Monitors and assesses the quality of existing financial controls.
  • Responsible for planning, preparation, and execution of annual budgeting.
  • Manages organization's financial activities per Oxfam's policies.
  • Leads and supports decision-making groups in the organization.

Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GAAP
Five to seven years of senior financial management experience
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Excellent leadership and project management skills
Strong computer literacy with MS Dynamics 365 and Excel
Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino

Education
