Job summary

A growing manufacturing company in Shaftesbury seeks a pro-active Financial Accountant to manage monthly management accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) and have strong experience in financial reporting and management accounting. This role offers significant autonomy with responsibilities including budget oversight and process improvement initiatives within a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Must be a Fully Qualified Accountant with a valid ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, tax, and management accounting, ideally in relevant sectors.
• Strong understanding of IFRS / FRS and stock accounting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts for two Ltd companies.
• Ensure compliance with financial legislation and maintain robust GDPR controls.
• Maintain clean balance sheets and provide monthly commentary.
