Location

Location: Commutable to Holborn, London - no fixed base.

Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week.

Salary: Competitive plus UK&I bonus scheme.

Role Overview

Sodexo supports government agencies in creating efficient and high-performing environments. We are looking for a Strategic Asset Manager to join a high profile blue light service in the Public Sector. This senior role is part of the Dynamic Contract Team. It focuses on data led asset management, lifecycle planning, funding decisions, and risk reduction. You will also help reduce total cost of ownership while supporting strategic and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead asset management strategies across the client's estate.
  • Develop and implement risk-based maintenance and data-driven lifecycle planning.
  • Manage and analyse asset data, reports, and dashboards.
  • Oversee surveys, verification programmes, and energy assessments.
  • Monitor asset performance to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Strategy & Planning, Technical Assurance Lead, and other stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement, service reviews, and innovation initiatives.
  • Ensure all work adheres to estate strategy, business goals, and compliance requirements.
Accountabilities
  • Maintain and prioritise the client maintenance plan.
  • Provide evidence for funding bids related to lifecycle and maintenance.
  • Deliver insights to enhance asset performance, reduce risk, and maximise value.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Relevant qualification - HND, NVQ, degree, or equivalent in engineering or building services.
  • Professional membership - CIOB, RICS, CIBSE, IAM, or similar.
  • Knowledge of ISO 55000 and lifecycle planning for complex estates.
  • Experience in data-led asset management.
  • Understanding of Hard FM compliance and maintenance standards - e.g. SFG20.
  • Proficiency with CAFM/CMMS systems and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to pass client security vetting.
