Stores Person Job in Ashley Heath

We are proud to be working with a well-established business that is a market leader in their industry. Our client is recruiting a reliable and motivated Stores Person to join their busy team. This stores role is key to the smooth running of their Stores and Warehouse function, ensuring goods are received, stored, issued, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Salary and Benefits
  • £26,000 - £29,000 per annum
  • Working Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Onsite parking
  • Pension scheme
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive and check incoming goods
  • Match deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Inspect items for damage, quality and quantity accuracy
  • Store materials safely in designated locations
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out regular cycle counts and annual stocktakes
  • Update inventory records using warehouse management software
  • Ensure correct labelling, identification, and traceability of all products
  • Issue parts, tools, and materials to internal teams as required
  • Prepare, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods with correct documentation
  • Handle materials safely and follow all Health and Safety guidelines
  • Log all stock movements using internal systems
  • Assist with monthly and annual inventory audits
  • Produce reports on stock usage, shortages, and reordering needs
Minimum Skills and Experience
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Good computer literacy (inventory systems, spreadsheets, email)
  • Excellent communication and a strong team player
  • Ability to use warehouse equipment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous experience in stores, warehousing, logistics or inventory management preferred
