A staffing agency in Folkestone is looking for a Stores Person to manage stock, handle materials, and ensure a smooth flow of components in the workshop. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment, operate a counterbalance forklift, and hold a full UK driving license. The role offers a salary of up to £28,000 and a Monday to Thursday schedule from 7 am to 5 pm.

Role Summary

You will play a key role in managing stock, handling materials and ensuring smooth flow of components and supplies across the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Organisation of workshop tools, materials and finished goods.
• Receipt and inspection of in-coming goods.
• Identification and movement of required tools to/from the workshop.
• Supply of packaging materials and ancillary parts to the workshop.
• Provision of all materials to support production.
• Use of counterbalance FLT’s, pallet truck and manual handling equipment.
• Delivering orders to customers sites.

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Previous experience using a counterbalance forklift (expired and in-house licence accepted)
• A full UK driving licence
