Job description

Our Systems, New & Refresh Stores team is responsible for delivering Tesco’s Property programme, managing new store openings, closures, and refresh projects in partnership with Retail and Property teams. We also oversee stock flow during peak seasonal periods such as Summer, Easter, and Christmas, ensuring availability for our customers.

In addition, the team supports petrol filling station refits, fulfilment centres, and direct-to-store ordering systems, acting as gatekeepers for store ordering processes and delivering ad hoc retail projects. This is a fast‑paced role that requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across the business to ensure a joined‑up approach.
  • Defining and tracking performance against KPIs.
  • Supporting additional responsibilities such as gatekeeping ordering systems, direct‑to‑store supply, and depot relief.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently within a team, is highly organised, pragmatic, and a lateral thinker with an inquisitive mindset. You’ll be motivated to drive positive change and always keep our customers at the heart of what you do.
