We are recruiting for a Store Manager to join our team at Kingsweston Service Station, Kingsweston Avenue, Shirehampton. BS11 0AH The Store Manager main responsibility is to manage a retail convenience store and forecourt. Leading the team setting consistently high standards and delivering excellent customer service. Promoting sales and leading the financial performance of the store.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the store is open for business as per company trading hours, customers are served quickly, professionally whilst providing excellent customer service.
• Managing stock, maximising sales, ensuring product availability, merchandising and promotions within the store.
• Managing KPI's, controlling wage costs, managing waste along with stock and cash shortages.
• Responsible for overseeing the retail sale of alcohol and implementing challenge 25
• Recruit and manage the performance of your team, ensuring they are trained to the correct level for their role.
• Completion of the daily back office paper-work and banking, ensuring it is completed accurately within the allocated timelines.
• Overseeing food preparation and ensuring food safety records are completed to company standards.
• Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is met across the store and forecourt.
• Managing fuel stocks, seeing in fuel deliveries safely and legally to meet the needs of the business and in line with petroleum regulations.
• Implementing company policies and procedures to ensure the store operates in a safe and legal manner.

Knowledge and Skills
