Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for enterprise storage environments, focusing on Brocade, Dell, NetApp, and EMC systems
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve storage-related incidents and performance issues
• Execute storage provisioning, replication, and backup tasks in accordance with change management policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on storage-related projects and capacity planning
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures
• Escalate complex issues to Level 3 support as necessary and assist in root cause analysis

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in storage engineering or systems administration with a storage focus
• Experience in a field based role
• Working knowledge and practical experience with:
• Brocade Fibre Channel SAN Switches (zoning, monitoring, firmware updates)
• Dell storage systems (eg, PowerVault, Unity, Compellent)
• NetApp ONTAP environments (NAS/SAN provisioning, snapshots, replication)
• EMC storage platforms (VNX, XtremIO, or Unity)
• Solid understanding of storage networking protocols: iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, SMB/CIFS
• Experience working in enterprise environments with ITIL-based support processes
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a proactive mindset
• Desirable - Hitachi Vantara experience
