  • Generate periodic stock count reports as required.
  • Maintain stock and report any concerns immediately.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues as required.

Job description
Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller to join our dynamic team at our site in Barton-upon-Humber. The candidates will work from Monday to Friday, 6:00 to 14:30, or 7:00 to 15:30.

Responsibilities
  • Pro-actively handling all stock issues for the function of stock control
  • Processing email ticket queries in a timely manner and provide relevant feedback to team members
  • Producing statistical data to include all stock count sheets and information regarding stock query and resolve sheets
  • Producing periodic stock count reports as required
  • Carrying out stock maintenance when counting stock and reporting any concerns regarding stock immediately to the Stock Control Supervisor
  • Providing training and support to colleagues as required by your Area Manager
Qualifications
  • Warehouse experience (advantageous)
  • Strong organisational, time management and team working skills
  • Flexibility, commitment and punctuality
  • Excellent numeracy skills and good attention to detail
  • Strong IT knowledge, including use of Microsoft Office and database applications
