The ideal candidate is someone who has hands‑on experience in stock condition surveying, asset compliance or housing-related building surveying. You will be confident identifying HHSRS hazards and Decent Homes failures, accurate with data, comfortable working in occupied homes and motivated by improving housing safety and standards for residents.

This role would suit a Stock Condition Surveyor, Repairs Surveyor, Building Surveyor or Asset Surveyor looking for long term stability, progression and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in shaping future investment decisions.

The Role

• Complete stock condition surveys
• Identify and report HHSRS hazards and Decent Homes failures
• Assess component condition, remaining lifecycles and building fabric issues
• Liaise with Stock Condition Administrators to manage appointments and access
• Work closely with Asset Strategy colleagues, external surveyors and contractors
• Ensure compliance with the Fitness for Human Habitation Act and landlord safety standards

The Person

• Background in stock condition surveys, building surveying or asset compliance
• Strong knowledge of HHSRS, Decent Homes and housing standards
• Understanding of building construction, defects and safety regulations
• Confident working in occupied homes with good customer communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
