Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company in Swindon is seeking a Sterility Assurance Lead to ensure compliance with the highest standards of sterility assurance. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s Degree in Microbiology and at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. You will own the sterility assurance strategy, manage quality events, and mentor junior staff. This is a full-time role with standard working hours and requires participation in on-call services.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical microbiology.
• Deep understanding of GMPs and EU GMP Annex 1.
• Experience in sterility assurance and contamination control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the site's Contamination Control Strategy.
• Manage quality events impacting sterility.
• Support the Environmental Monitoring review.
