Qualifications

• Experience working in a sterile services department.
• Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures.
• Health and Safety training including Lifting and Handling training.

Responsibilities

• Receipt of used medical devices in the decontamination area.
• Basic testing of equipment.
• Ensure tools are functioning and report faulty equipment.
• Ensure availability of cleaning equipment and correct detergents.
