Responsibilities

• Follow a regulated sterilisation/decontamination process for surgical instruments.
• Prepare sterile consumables to predefined quality standards.
• Check, wash, and pack sets of theatre instruments.
• Safely operate and monitor sterilisation machines and equipment.
• Record and log repairs of instruments on the tracking system.
