A leading healthcare provider in Bournemouth is seeking a Stem Cell Transplant Nurse Specialist for a 12-month secondment. The role requires excellent communication skills and experience in lung cancer. The successful candidate will provide essential care advice throughout patients' cancer pathways and work within a multidisciplinary team. This position also allows for development into a Band 6 role depending on experience. Competitive compensation is offered for enthusiastic and motivated individuals.
A 12 month secondment opportunity has arisen within the Stem Cell Transplant Nurse Specialist for a Band 7 CNS. A band 6 development post would be considered for those depending on experience and interview.
You should possess excellent communication skills, be highly motivated and ideally have experience of lung cancer and/or cancer nursing. The successful applicant will need to be dynamic and able to work flexibly as part of the MDT; you will need to be resilient and able to influence in order to cope with the demands of the role and the service need.
The post holder will work towards providing specialist care advice and support to patients and their carers throughout their cancer care pathway, working as an integral member of the haematology cancer team.
