Infopro Digital group is recruiting a Staff Writer on a permanent basis to join our Markets desk, Risk.net brand out of our London offices. The role reports to the Editor of the Markets desk and is a hybrid position allowing for working from home and at the Houndsditch office. The successful applicant will help drive the desk’s coverage of global markets across all major asset classes and instruments, producing regular news stories, deeply reported features, profiles and data‑led articles. The role requires at least two years of financial reporting experience, preferably within capital markets, and the ability to generate own story ideas and build reliable contacts across the market.

Responsibilities
  • Generate a regular flow of news and feature stories, including exclusive news pieces, conference stories and data‑led articles.
  • Research and write 2,000‑3,000 word feature articles, requiring several interviews with market participants and observers.
  • Build reliable contacts across a variety of market segments and use them to generate story ideas or develop existing ones.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in journalism or a financial related field.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent research and interviewing abilities.
  • Knowledge of AP Style or other editorial guidelines.
